Childhood Immunisation Programme

The Department of Health's outreaching School Immunisation Teams provide immunization to primary 1, primary 5 and primary 6 students at school.

  • 9-valent Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine- First dose

  • Diphtheria (reduced dose), Tetanus, acellular Pertussis (reduced dose) & Inactivated Poliovirus Vaccine - Booster dose
  • 9-valent Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine- Second dose
  • Hepatitis B Vaccine(mop-up)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella & Varicella (MMRV) Vaccine (mop-up)

School Dental Care Service
  • The School Dental Care Service is a primary dental health care programme administered by the Department of Health for all primary school children in Hong Kong. Students enrolled in the scheme can enjoy one year of dental care. They will be arranged to attend a school dental clinic for oral examination and treatment. The nominal fee for eligible students is HK$36.

Student Health Service
  • Enrolled students will be given an annual appointment for a health assessment at a Student Health Service Centre. These services include physical examination, screening for health problems related to growth, nutrition, blood pressure, vision, hearing, spine, psychological health and behaviour, individual health counselling and health education. The health assessment is offered free of charge.
